Hi! My name is Brooke, my parents are Don and Karen Sanders and the owners of Creekside Westies.
My parents and I got our start with breeding back in 2007 with Golden retrievers but wanted to add a breed with a great temperament, minimal health issues, and smaller stature so it would be easier for my parents to handle. We welcomed in our first Westie in 2009 and my parents have adored them ever since.
Over the years, my parents added in a few other small breeds, mainly focusing on small poodle mixes, aussiedoodles and cavapoos.
In February 2022 we lost our precious father, he was the driving force behind my parents program, he spoke with the families, kept pictures up to date, handled all the marketing and he saw almost every state from behind the wheel of his little Toyota hand delivering puppies to their new families.
To say life without him has been a hard adjustment would be a huge understatement. Since my father's passing, myself my three sisters and some of the grandkids have stepped in to help Mom with her program. The decision has been made to downsize and return to nothing but Westies, the breed they fell in love with many years ago.

As we grow our Westie program, we will be completing all genetic tests to ensure we are providing our families with healthy, sound puppies.
